6/02/2012 - The day Rosanna invited me to go to a concert. I could not really make up my mind weather to go or not as I did not know who L’arc~en~ciel was, and the ticket was a bit pricey. However, I thought that it would be a good experience as I have never been to a JRock concert and I wanted to see how different it would be to the other ones (mainly western concerts) I’ve been to. After a minute of thinking (lol) I decided to say YES! I got called a ばか because I wasn’t able to read Rosanna’s message properly. SHE’S PAYING!
I felt bad but she told me not to (I couldn’t help it though). After our conversation, I researched about them, I couldn’t put my finger on it but they felt really familiar and when I clicked on ハイド I thought of Gackt. Then I went on youtube to listen to some of their songs, that was when it came to me; they’re THE RAINBOW (I know I am so ばか for not realising it earlier), I have always loved “promised land” (it was the only song I knew prior to the day ろさちゃん sent me a message) but I never knew that the band is called L’arc~en~ciel and I got really addicted to “Anata” and some of their songs! I fell in love with ハイド! I mean, who would not fall in love with this:
He has one of the sexiest voice!!! UNF!!!!!! Damn! I don’t care if he’s an おじさん and married LOL. Okay, I am just being delusional here. My deepest apologies.
10/04/2012 - The day before the concert. わくわくです！！！！I had butterflies in my tummy. I went out with my cousin to calm my excitement! It kinda worked but when the night came; I WAS ECSTATIC that I could not even sleep!!!! I spoke to ろさちゃん to sort out our meeting time and place, then I fell asleep wondering how it’d turn out.
11/04/2012 - The much awaited day of this month. I woke up at 9.00 am as I could no longer sleep. I just wanted 7.00 pm to come! ろさちゃん and I agreed to meet at 4.00 at North Greenwich station. Unfortunately she was late, so I strolled and OMG!!! There were a lot of people who were holding huge banners and dressed up whilst being interviewed, I wanted to take pictures of them but I ended up not doing so just in case they might chase and beat the hell out of me. Just kidding! I mean, it’s rude to just take pictures without asking for their permission so I didn’t. I went back to the station instead.

5.00 ろさちゃん arrived. AAAhhhhhh!!!! We were hungry, so we went wagamama. We ordered so much because we thought that we would finish everything. We stayed there for about an hour and a half.
The ramen was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
6.30 pm - We headed to the Arena where people were congregating. We went inside and got the glow sticks!!!
I was ssooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ANXIOUS!!!!!! My heart felt as if it was going to burst! And the really long queue was not helping! ろさちゃん was looking at some いやらしい stuff, I’m joking :P we were on this queue for about 45 minutes.
7.30 pm - At last we were inside! Since we were at the balcony, we had to find a [good] place, we managed to get a place at the centre :D which I was really pleased about! ろさちゃん and I were talking how excited we were and the people around us were just giving us looks for some unknown reason (lol). I was so annoyed because they told us to turn off all our electronic devices. I was not going to but there’s this huge dude going around and I got scared, I did not want to get in to trouble so I put everything away (sadly). Here are some snapshots before it started:

9.00 pm - AT LAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OOOOMMMMGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My heart could not longer contain it so I SQUEALED!!!!!!! AAAhhhhhhh Ibara no Namida was the opening song. I could not believe it. It was so surreal! hyde’s stage presence - the way he moved - HIS SEXY VOICE!!!!!!!! People were taking out their cameras and phones, I wanted to take out mine but it was too めんどうくさい and the performance was just too overwhelming! It felt as if all my energy was taken away and I could not do anything but focus on the performance! It was LIVE!!!!!!! I sang along the songs that I know and waved my glow stick to the ones I didn’t (LOL) and after each song, I screamed! They took a break afterwards.
During the break, I could feel my voice becoming hoarse and people were screaming “あんこれ” which was so ばか because the performance wasn’t finished. Another funny thing was, everytime a stage cleaner comes out, everyone would scream LOOOL! ろさちゃん and I got off the table (lol yes we knelt on the table because the people stood up and since we, or I, am not that tall, I could not see anything) and we talked briefly. Suddenly, a familiar melody came on… that melody… the song that captured me… then the lyrics came on the screen:

Everyone sang in unison as they waved their glow sticks. Then hyde came out and waved. It was really really really really dreamlike. Then when hyde started singing I wanted to cry!!!!! People might think I was over reacting but I don’t care, no words can express how moved I was. It was such an unforgettable night! I was really glad to be there. It was sad that it had to end.
Towards the ending, hyde said that the best place in London is the London Dungeon LOL and Tetsuya’s bananas. I did not know what to think when said “who want my banana? Who want to lick my… em… lollipop?” ろさちゃん was just laughing and I laughed along because it was funny xD
I have seen many concerts but L’Anniversary 2012 has got to be the best one so far! At the end of it, a stall was selling different kinds of memorabilia. I saw a poster and I told myself, I HAVE TO GET THAT! So I ran and jumped in the queue, I am small so people barely noticed (LOL) and whilst on the queue, I saw that there were only 4 posters left, so I literally crossed my fingers, toes, arms and eyes for them not to run out! Then ろさちゃん gave me the “WTF” look, and when I told her, I swear up and down she wanted to hit me! Because there was a box full of posters. So I crossed everything only to find out that there were more.
